Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

• Health & fitness data — heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen (SpO₂), step count, distance, active calories, sleep duration and stages, and workout sessions. Read from Apple Health with your explicit permission.
• Location data — GPS coordinates collected only during an active workout session and only while the app is in use.
• Account data — email address and password (stored as a hashed value) used to authenticate your account.
• Usage data — app interactions and performance logs used to improve the app experience.

2. Health data — special notice

Health and fitness data obtained from Apple Health (HealthKit) is used solely to provide features within MyVitality. This data is:

• Never sold to third parties
• Never shared with advertisers
• Never used for marketing
• Accessible only by you

3. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on secure servers with HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and at rest. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Authentication uses short-lived tokens.

4. Third-party services

OpenStreetMap — map tiles (no personal data sent).
Google Sign-In — optional authentication (governed by Google's Privacy Policy).
AI features — nutrition photos and coach messages you choose to send are processed by our AI provider solely to generate your result, and are not used to train models.

5. Your rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data or request deletion
• Export your data
• Revoke Health permissions anytime via iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health
